Lee is an artist printmaker, born in West Cornwall. He trained at Falmouth School of Art and North Staffs University. He makes hand-made limited edition prints including etching, aquatinting, lino and wood-cuts. He is also known for his landscapes in oils. Subject range: life studies, Cornish sea and landscapes and still-life. His work is based on drawing from observation. He gets a lot of inspiration from the seasonal changes in the landscape. I am also a member of 'Drawn to the Valley' Artists exhibiting throughout the year including the very popular 'Open Studios'. Having started painting after moving to Cornwall and originally working in watercolour, acrylic and pastel I now prefer the versatility of mixed media.My paintings bring together a love of texture, colour and the wonderful Cornish landscape creating a sense and mood of impressionism.
