Lee is an artist printmaker, born in West Cornwall. He trained at Falmouth School of Art and North Staffs University. He makes hand-made limited edition prints including etching, aquatinting, lino and wood-cuts. He is also known for his landscapes in oils. Subject range: life studies, Cornish sea and landscapes and still-life. His work is based on drawing from observation. He gets a lot of inspiration from the seasonal changes in the landscape. I am also a member of 'Drawn to the Valley' Artists exhibiting throughout the year including the very popular 'Open Studios'. Having started painting after moving to Cornwall and originally working in watercolour, acrylic and pastel I now prefer the versatility of mixed media.My paintings bring together a love of texture, colour and the wonderful Cornish landscape creating a sense and mood of impressionism. Sculpture tutor

I've been teaching people to sculpt for 25 years, whether a complete novice or a teacher wanting some CPD all are welcome. My philosophy is 'there are no wrong answers' I create an environment of confidence and self esteem in my classes, which enables and encourages students to explore their own sculptural potential. I have a vast knowledge of materials and techniques so I work in any material and at any size and genre. Students can also explore mould making and cast their work if they so wish. Some of my previous students have gone on to sell there work so I also teach a module on enterprise including copyright protection, marketing and how to make a profit from your artwork. As well as my own studio workshops, I am currently resident artist at Sowenna so am highly experienced at working with students with mental health issues, confidence building and improving self esteem.
