The Owls House Studio![]()
Artist Mary Allen's bold and spontaneous work embodies a very personal take on all things related to the sea and her beloved cornish coastline. She demonstrates this by using fairly thick layers of paint finishing with layers of glazes to produce the texture and tone her work has become recognized for. The palette knife is her preferred tool, however hands and the odd kitchen utensil here and there also play their part. She works from her studio at The Owls House, which, when she is not traveling, is open to the public, and so it is always wise to ring before a visit. |

We welcome you to look at the old building as well as the paintings. The Old Town Hall Gallery is situated in the artistic quarter of Falmouth at the top end of High Street. |
