Lynne Speake

I create wonderfully inventive, colourful, unique and sparkly up-cycled jewellery (wearable art) from broken jewellery, childhood memorabilia, things left in drawers or even thrown away (I also steal things from my dogs). Originally a painter, I came to Cornwall to complete a MA and through this I started to make work with an eco conscience. As part of my Art practice I also run regular community workshops where I teach how to transform almost anything into something amazing, special and totally unique.

Tamara-Jane Art and Gifts

I am an independent artist based on the Rame Peninsula in south-east Cornwall. I hand paint and make clocks from ceramic tiles, slate and now reclaimed roofing tiles. I try to keep my style unique, so tend not to repeat designs unless requested to do so. I try to use reclaimed materials where I can but this is not always possible.

Beach Unique

Pebble art, pictures and decorations made from pebbles, driftwood and sea glass we have found on our local beaches.

I craft lamps from spirit bottles and send them back into the world to be appreciated and loved once more.I take great pride and care in preparing my bottles for this journey, from ensuring they are spotless and have no trace of their former contents before drilling them with diamond tipped drill bits designed especially for glass.I use various string sizes and colours of LED lamps inside my bottles but ensure that the lamps are high quality with all of the required CE marks to show that they conform with relevant EU directives regarding health and safety or environmental protection.
