It'll be a great place to kick off your Christmas shopping. With an array of Cornish food and drink producers on hand to show you how they create their quality products, with the chance to try and buy their delicacies. There will also be craft stalls selling fantastic locally created gifts. There'll be quality catering concessions selling an array of food and drink as well.
There will be plenty of farm animals that you can get up close to, a food and farming educational discovery zone where you can learn more about local agriculture and food production. There will be opportunity to 'Have a Go' at things like milking a (mock!) cow and grooming a pony. It'll be great fun for all of the family.
The event incorporates the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show, which has been running for 140 years. It's all about competitions. The packed prize schedule includes cattle and sheep showing, produce, craft and cookery classes. There are competitive classes for children, local schools, WI and Young Farmers' Clubs.
Why not get involved and enter a class or two this year. Could you be crowned Cornwall's best baker or grow the biggest potato? You can take in the cattle and sheep judging. Who'll be taking home the silverware this year?
The Cornish Winter Fair takes place on Saturday 17 November 2018 at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge (Sat Nav: PL27 7JE).
Entry is completely free of charge and we've got acres of free parking on site as well. The event is totally undercover - so it'll be great for all the family, no matter what the weather.

Royal Cornwall Show

Thursday, 6th June 2019 until Saturday, 8th June 2019

Interested in crafts? Planning a wedding? Want to shop in Wadebridge town centre? Is woodland your thing?
Whatever your interest, we aim to make you very welcome here.
There’s something for every member of the family at the Royal Cornwall Show.
It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in food and farming.
It's a time and place to meet old friends, conduct business, enjoy Cornwall in all its glory and to welcome thousands of visitors from outside our county.
This is a top agricultural show which attracts increasing numbers of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes which are refined each year. And year on year people travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away with an award.
Dog and goat sections; rare breed classes. A top flower show and thriving countryside area. Rabbits, cage birds, cavies - even bees get noticed here!
We support and promote Cornish-grown and Cornish-produced food both in the trade section and in our own cafes and restaurants.
Main ring entertainment is mounted on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza; there are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance.
You can come to the Royal Cornwall Show with a single-minded ambition to buy a tractor or a car. Here is where you will see them all on display.
