Falmouth Community Gospel Choir

We are delighted to welcome the Falmouth Community Gospel Choir to The Park.
Led by Ley Adewole and Richard Penrose, the Gospel Choir started as a 10 week workshop in January 2013.
Ley is an award winning Gospel singer, songwriter and vocal coach who has recorded and performed live with top recording artists such as Stevie Wonder, George Michael and Take That to name a few.
Richard Penrose is the Musical Director and an accomplished pianist, composer, producer and arranger. He has supported artists such as Courtney Pine, Jan Ackerman and Katrina and the Waves and played with numerous visiting international Jazz artists such as Alan Barnes, Jim Mullen and Tim Whitehead.
The open-air theatre is situated in front of Penlee House in Penlee Park, Penzance, Cornwall.
The theatre has disabled access although some is on uneven ground. Assistance can be provided.

Gin and Jazz in the Park

Magnificent Mozart with orchestra in a sublime setting

Once again the beautiful Priory Church of St.German's is the venue for the East Cornwall Bach Choir's summer concert.
The choir will sing the magnificent 'Mass in C Minor' by Mozart with sopranos Bianca Phillips and Kate Walker, tenor Gordon Pike and bass John Hobbs.
The orchestral group 'Divertimento' will provide the musical accompaniment.
Chris Howarth, ECBC Musical Director, will conduct the concert.
Come and join us for this truly wonderful event - a summer's evening musical treat.

Benji Matthews in concert

Benji Matthews from Cornwall, impressed the judges on the X Factor In 2017, and he is performing in Truro with the Truro YoungStagers, the youth group of Truro Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society.
All proceeds are being donated to Truro Youngstagers by Benji.
The evening will include song and dance numbers by the Truro Youngstagers, followed by live music from Benji.

Whitegold Festival of Clay 2019

The 2019 Whitegold Festival takes place in St Austell town centre on Saturday, September 21.
The Festival celebrates all-things clay from Cornish craft artists to brass bands, street performances, workshops and artist demonstrations, dramatic kiln firings, and cooking in a traditional clay oven.
The Festival kicks off at 10 and runs throughout the day.
