Eden Stell Guitar Duo Concert - Cawsand Bay Guitarfest

The Cawsand Bay Guitarfest is delighted to have this brilliant Duo open the weekend with a fantastic programme including: Giuliani, Scarlatti, Poulenc, Mompou, Tedesco and Brahms.
Likened to a miraculous single guitarist blessed with an impossibly wonderful technique and an exceptionally delicate touch (The Observer), the Eden Stell Guitar Duo have been invited to perform at venues and music festivals around the world; including Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Turkey, USA, China, Canada, Mexico, South and Central America and Australia, plus numerous radio and TV appearances on ITV, BBC and European and North American networks.
Mark and Chris were elected Associates of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of their outstanding musical achievements and they both currently hold teaching positions at the Royal College of Music, and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Craig Ogden, Classical Guitar Concert - Cawsand Bay Guitarfest

Classic FM chart topping, australian born guitarist Craig Ogden is one of the most exciting artists of his generation.  The Cawsand Bay Guitarfest is thrilled to have him perform a delightful and varied programme  including, Dowland, Bach, Coste, Legnani, Albeniz, Barrios and Ryan.
Craig has performed concertos with all the main UK orchestras plus many abroad. He regularly appears as soloist and chamber musician at major venues and collaborates with the UK’s top artists and ensembles. One of the UK’s most recorded guitarists, his recordings for Chandos, Nimbus, Virgin/EMI, Hyperion, Sony and Classic FM have received wide acclaim. Craig’s six chart-topping albums for Classic FM are regularly played on air. He has presented programmes on BBC Radio 3, BBC Northern Ireland and ABC Classic FM.

Alison Smith, Classical guitar Concert - Cawsand Bay Guitarfest

The highly acclaimed British born classical guitarist Alison Smith has been described as one of the most exciting and lyrical guitarists to emerge in recent years. She delights audiences with her fluid technique and expressive playing, performing nationwide and in Europe at concert halls, festivals and has broadcast on national radio including BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Scotland. She has played eight times at the International Guitar Festival of Great Britainand has recently been engaged by Willowhayne Records, to become one of their artists has has recorded a new album titled Poético which was realease in March 2019. Alison's CDs are distributed physically and digitally worldwide.

Whitegold Festival of Clay 2019

Saturday, 21st September 2019

The 2019 Whitegold Festival takes place in St Austell town centre on Saturday, September 21.
The Festival celebrates all-things clay from Cornish craft artists to brass bands, street performances, workshops and artist demonstrations, dramatic kiln firings, and cooking in a traditional clay oven.
The Festival kicks off at 10 and runs throughout the day.
