Flying Tales Children’s theatre workshop

Saturday, 22nd June 2019

Flying Tales Drama workshops for youngsters.
The workshops are designed to encourage stories from play.
We may use a Cornish lore, a new-fangled idea or your hidden wild haired family legend as a starting point.
We will head off, twiddle with words, keeping pace with fable and stroll them into tales about stuff.
The very stuff that dreams are made of, then proceed to throw in some bright heeled tinder to catch the imagination and startle the slumbering mind’s eye.
There will be movement, possibly mime, maybe a mask and plenty of time.Saturday June 22nd 4:00 pm
The open-air theatre is situated in front of Penlee House in Penlee Park, Penzance, Cornwall.
The theatre has disabled access although some is on uneven ground. Assistance can be provided.

Murder by Appointment

Saturday, 6th July 2019

Murder by Appointment - Dark and Deadly Secrets.
The tranquil splendour of ancient manor house gardens sets the scene for a quiet village fund-raising fete.
But this is the swinging 1960’s, and the deterioration in morality and culture is walking hand in hand with both personal and political scandal.
Heads have been turned amongst the London Underworld, leaving some prominent local people at risk.
An unsavoury guest brings far reaching threats that could ruin lives. Could the threat of ruin be so great it leads to murder?
Watch as the longest established murder mystery company in the West of England reveal the connections between a London gangster, a Reporter, the village Squire and his family, a Westminster MP and a local Catholic Priest.
Witness the intrigue, passion and scandal for yourselves.
Discover deep secrets, both dark and deadly.
Solve the mystery.
Identify the murderer.
Win the Prize.
