Standing8Theatre: Seeking Isolde

Saturday, 30th May 2020

Imagine diving into the sea and finding a secret kingdom with people living in it.
This is what happened to Frank, a geeky amateur diver, who discovered Lyonesse, a land that sank beneath the waves during the times of King Arthur.
Frank has taken advantage of unusual tidal patterns to reach a part of the sea that has been hidden until now, but it won’t be long before other divers follow him and discover what’s been keeping him so busy under the water.
If Frank can prove the crown he has found on the seabed is Excalibaba, the crown of Lyonesse, legend tells us that this sunken, mystical land, once home to Tristan and Isolde, will rise to the surface once again.
Horrible Histories meets the world’s geekiest Indiana Jones in this hilarious new show with original songs.
This is the ideal family show.
The open-air theatre is situated in front of Penlee House in Penlee Park, Penzance, Cornwall.

As You Like It - Sun and Moon Theatre

Saturday, 25th July 2020

Within the corporate, tech-obsessed world of the Court, the present is grinding and the future feels bleak.
But when Rosalind is abruptly dismissed, she and Celia seize the opportunity for a fresh start, embracing the liberty of the bohemian Forest of Arden.
They experience love, transformation and the thrill of empowerment, switching off, and ‘wasting’ time. Fuelled by live music, wit and the giddiness of falling in love, this jubilant ensemble production serves as a reminder to do what you love and remember how to live.
Based in the South West, Sun and Moon Theatre specialise in Shakespeare, working with original Quarto and First Folio scripts and are invested in delighting their audiences with entertaining, thought-provoking and accessible theatre.
