Art-K Truro

An educational art club for children and adults (6+years). This is an art club which provides a quality education program for anyone and everyone who wants to learn or to develop their creative skills. Projects focus on developing skills and use a wide variety of mediums such as acrylics, watercolours, oils on canvas, 3D projects, drawing, collage, etc. All materials are provided. Exploration of contemporary and historical artists means that the projects are progressive, educational as well as fun! We also help develop children’s visual perceptual and memory skills through our fun unique drawing exercises. These are the precursors to reading and writing skills which are a vital part of a child’s development. The adult classes also teach across a range of mediums. Drawing skills are interwoven throughout the course. There is both flexibility in the course and also structure for the less experienced artist who is looking to learn new skills. The classes are lead by talented artists who are able to teach and assist with new techniques or provide ideas if you are more experienced. We discuss inspirational artists from the Impressionists to David Hockney and experiment using their techniques. Find Art-K Truro on Facebook Follow Art-K Truro on twitter

Our big show at Penwith College was very well received. Please check our website or PAOS Facebook page. Whether you want to be on stage, backstage or elsewhere, do get in touch, and we can have a chat. PAOS has been going nearly 100 years, so we must be doing something right.
